Come and try "Bocce" the friendly sport!
In keeping with the concept of multi-culturism the Bairnsdale based Italian Bocce and Sporting Club will provide visitors to the festival the opportunity to discover how enjoyable this european sport can be. Bocce can be played by all ages, does not require any special clothing or footwear and is ideal for families to get together and have enjoyable hours of entertainment. You will find them east of the footbridge on the Saturday of the Festival. While coaching will be given and the basic rules explained it is about having people enjoy themselves in keeping with the ideals of the Festival. So come along and find out about this forgotten sport and perhaps you will become "hooked".
